I’m ready for departure. The adventures will start early being that my flight to Amsterdam is apparently delayed. Here are a few preparation photos, including a photo of my seldom-see, pink, travel belt thing (courtesy of my Grandma).
Ahoy hoy! We just dropped you off at LAX awhile ago, and you are presently in the air. Upon our return to the homestead, we departed on our own adventure: a WALK! Woo hoo! Whilst briskly perambulating the hills of Elsinore as the sun left the smile of his departure and the sky got progressively darker, we were delighted with the sight of the nearly-full moon, and chatted amongst ourselves how beautiful a sight you must be seeing while flying over the vast Atlantic. Glad now that you got a window seat instead of the aisle. We were trying to figure out how many hours of full-moon-over-the-ocean view you would have before catching up with the revolving sun. Maybe five?? Total stab in the dark.
