As is our January tradition, we journeyed to Quartzite, Arizona for three days of hiking, buying cheap things, shooting guns, riding motorcycles, building massive fires, and eating in a not-so-healthy manner. It’s obviously a packed schedule. The adventures started early this year as Ben and I rode the motorcycles through the desert and into Arizona. Our ride took much longer than planned and we rode a couples hours in the dark; partially lost, trying to find our camp site. Our dad finally climbed a hill and shined a flashlight, thus allowing us to find our way.

The rest of the weekend was consumed with the aforementioned activities. A few highlights were: riding without helmets, shooting a gun while riding, having 10+ foot fires, not seeing “bookman”, conquering Dome Rock, and drinking Arizona Sweet Tea in Arizona!
