Ah, Arizona. The great land of open trails, massive camp fires, dangerous open mine shafts, and the suspicious hotdog vendor. We depart as soon as we put our motorcycles back together. We will cover roughly 1000 miles of trails. We will sleep wherever we are when the sun departs our view. We will eat… probably very unhealthy and/or unsanitary food. What an adventure it will be!
This trip, however, will be quite different as we will have no “support van” with much needed water and sleeping quarters. We will be loading up our motorbikes with all the necessary supplies: water, a toothbrush, and a sleeping bag. We’ll have to see about the old bathroom situation.
Here are some tasty visuals from previous trips to the region.
Old Rusty Stuff!
Cactus... soon to be set ablaze
Ol' law-abiding Clarke
Some old missiles (a dangerous path)
I don't like this. Doesn't look safe.

I KNEW we should have bought that insurance!

That fire should be 3 times bigger!
Now that REALLY doesn't look safe! (Ben looks a little nervous)
Wow, my last post was many moons ago. Last ride was to Lazy H. This ride was just Crazy H!!! (It’s a joke!). Anywho, this was an thrilling ride, being that three of five bikes succumbed to gravity and/or lack of friction.
Yet another enjoyable weekend at the Lazy H Ranch. Although riding time was cut short, we thoroughly enjoyed the time away from bills, emails and phone calls.

With work and school about to commence, a good ride was in order. So the three brothers set off on a grand 6-hour adventure through the mountains. We would come away with fantastic tales, two bee-strings, and the realization that I should have applied some sunscreen to my neck.
Checking out an old house (moments before bee-sting #1)
Avoiding the cliffs are the key here
A body of water
Is that dog STILL chasing Ben?
Enjoying expired cookies we found in a jacket
Hamburgers! (this was minutes before bee-sting #2)
Work and school can sure wear you down. I probably should have taken a nap. But I think a few hours of riding up and down steep hills with massively gnarly ruts accomplished the same thing. Ah, I now feel rejuvenated!
Now I’m not normally the type to hitch up my trousers and heave myself into a great big dumpster… but this was no ordinary dumpster! With the conclusion of this semester came a massive influx of cleaning as we are moving to an alternate location. This conglomerate of fine “garbage” didn’t stay there long. Now that this fine heap of instrumentation is clogging up my workspace, I am wondering what to do with it.
