Ahoy there! As a result of laziness the blog has been idle for quite some time now. Don’t worry though, I have been having plenty of adventures. I am coming to you, the reader, for advice on what to do with the blog.
Should I:
a) Leave it be, occasionally updating it.
b) Put something else more relevant up.
c) Use it as kindling for a fire.
d) Go on another blog-worthy adventure.
A most recent adventure took us to the mysterious and snow-drenched mountains of Azusa, where we traced the circuitous mountain roads and attempted to gain access to the many gated fire roads. We have future plans to pass through the gate shown below which will then grant us passage to the elusive abandoned tunnels and bridge to nowhere. Sounds mysterious, eh?
Although there were no Borios, Arizona provided us with a good heap of adventures involving big fires, hiking, motorcycling through rain, throwing rocks off hills, and discovering yet another Oreo knock-off! Yes, another. “Newman-Os” are the latest addition. Unfortunately, there will be no “Oreo/Borio/Newman-O taste test. Those Newman-Os just looked too suspicious.
Here are a few photos of our trip. I will soon be posting what I’m sure will be some of the strangest videos you’ve ever seen.
After an exciting battle between the famed Borios and standard Oreos, the Egyptian version emerged as the victor after a 13/2 vote. “The Borios taste much more fresh and have a good crispy texture to them,” said one taste test participant. The question still remains though, if Oreo is aware that they are being copied by Borio.
Dear reader, this site has been hijacked. All will answer to me now. And starting with immediate effect, all computers viewing this web page, will be under my sonar tracker. I will soon have control over all America! My reign of terror as begun!
Have a nice day
Well, I made it out of Egypt alive, but not without one last episode with the authorities! As an officer was reviewing my passport and visa, he motioned for me to step aside (you know that’s not good). Apparently my visa was only for a month. So they fined me 150 pounds ($30) and sent me on my way. I was not excited about the loss of money, but was glad I wasn’t thrown into some prison cell or a dreaded Egyptian mosquito chamber.
Although my Egyptian adventures are over (for now), there will still be plenty of crazy happenings taking place and being blogged about, right here at psavisuals.
My first day back brought a few adventures, including shooting a home made launching device.
Last night I walked about the street saying goodbye to my many new friends. It was hard to say goodbye to all these people who I can’t even talk to but with whom I feel so close. But I know I will be back to visit. You can’t keep me away from those Borios!
After a 5 hour train ride we arrived in Cairo and were greeted with traffic of the likes I have never seen. Driving from the train station to Mina’s uncle’s house (just to another section of Cairo) took us over two hours. There was ample time do to things in between driving such as tuning up your motorcycle. And that’s just what I saw. A fellow hopped off his motorcycle, put it on the center stand, pulled some tools out from underneath the seat, and started performing some adjustments to the engine, all while sitting in traffic. That’s some good multi-tasking. He even had time to give his bike a little cleaning.
This could very well be my last post of this crazy adventure, but don’t worry because there are more blog-worthy adventures awaiting me, such as getting accustomed to processed foods again.
Here are a few photos from my journey today with those much-loved captions!
